For over 60 years, Fida has been selecting and distributing the finest coffee blends, renowned for their exceptional taste and quality.

Bean by bean, blend after blend; Fida Coffee has become what it is today thanks to the passion of Sante, Guerrino, and his two daughters. Three generations united by a single passion: quality coffee. This passion lives on every day at the intersection of technology and tradition, with a clear focus on the future.

Our History
Our roasting house, Fida Roasting House, was founded in 1954 by Sante Sassara. An entrepreneur with a heart for quality coffee, he inherited this passion from his father-in-law, who owned a small roastery in Rome during the 1920s. Sante began crafting coffee blends in Marta, a beautiful town on the shores of Lake Bolsena. Before long, his coffee became the most popular throughout the entire Tuscia region.

As an expert in the art of roasting, his primary goal was to produce and distribute coffee that would satisfy even the most discerning connoisseurs at a competitive price. The results exceeded all expectations; Fida Coffee grew into the market leader in the province of Viterbo and successfully expanded far beyond.

Today, the roastery in Marta is led by Sante’s son, Guerrino Sassara. He keeps the passion for quality coffee alive by maintaining a meticulous eye for every detail in the blending and roasting process, combining state-of-the-art technology with a craftsman’s spirit.

The new Sassara generation—Guerrino’s daughters—is ready to enter the national and international coffee markets. They are deeply involved in the company’s management, working with the vital lesson passed down from grandfather to father: never lose sight of the quality of the coffee.
